We moved overseas 3 years ago, leaving the vast majority of our belongings in the attic of our house in California which is rented out. We are now moving to the east coast and want to get our things out of our attic to move to the east coast. However, when we packed, we expected we would be returning to California, so everything is packed well enough to be stored in an attic, but not for a cross-country move. I need to figure out how to get the things out of the attic and repacked without disrupting the tenants too much. Can I pay movers to repack things in the truck? Any other ideas?
