Nope. FMCSA is supposed to call me today to talk about having a representative go to the place Proud American says my stuff is to see if it IS there. It's 7-8 hours from me so it's still quite far.

Still waiting... they left our things in a warehouse with another carrier, and now we have to pay to get our things from said carrier. Working with Move Rescue and the FMCSA to hopefully figure something out. Original pick-up was on June 30, so they have had our stuff almost 3 months.

Las Vegas Moving and Storage - it's apparently part of the AMSA so things are a little different for Move Rescue to work with them? I'm not really sure.

LyraStar...

Please stay in touch with me at my Yahoo account.

Write your elected officials also....they need to hear from everyone who has been scammed, not just a few people.

It's possible that this information may already be buried somewhere in the 8 pages of this thread, but while looking up info on Eco Van Lines (supposedly based in NJ) I found shared addresses and phone numbers with Proud American and a bunch of other old companies. The victims congregating here may be able to use it in their fights.

Moving back at end of the month.

Step-Dad is bugging about how we should get professional movers.

After our last experience. HELL NO. It will be a rental truck, some TRUE pros to help load (they only do local moves anyway), and me driving.

I know where my stuff is. I know the delivery date. I know I won't be scammed.

Thanks Music Mom - will forward that info to the people helping me.

No update for me yet! Friday marks 3 months since pick-up - at this point it's going to be like Christmas when I finally get my stuff (assuming I do) and am able to open all the boxes!

Soooo. Apparently Proud American put our stuff in that storage facility under their name, so even if I had gone down to get it I wouldn't have been able to get it out of storage. MoveRescue got the name of a guy who is supposedly picking it up Sunday to deliver it? But I haven't heard anything from Proud American. The saga continues...

No word from the guy who was picking up our stuff yesterday to deliver today or tomorrow. Slowly losing hope.
