Re: **a VERY BAD experience with Rinkens/Items missing/Any advice?

We try to stay away from them but to certain locations they are by far the cheapest carrier. We inform clients of the possible troubles and leave to them if they wish to keep the cost cheaper or choose another carrier....

Re: **a VERY BAD experience with Rinkens/Items missing/Any advice?

While I do apologize if you feel Rinkens has not responded to your request/calls, I assure you I am looking into this matter. You were dealing with Steve on this shipment and Steve has informed me that prior to you making the booking you were made aware of the delays we sometimes experience with Zim...

Re: Car shippment companies (from Bremenhaven to Newark)?

You can try a company called Interfracht GMBH, b.kuhlmann@interfracht.de (Britta) they are my agent in Germany and I believe have decent rates ro-ro from Bremerhaven to Newark probably about 1000.00usd equiv. I have never personally used them to ship a car to me but I have sent previous clients that...

Re: PA, USA to United Kingdom Urgent Thank you

I disagree. Tober Group is a good company and has very good rates. They are an NVOCC as well. If you are in business, I do not care who you are, you will have complaints. Of course it is not the complaints but how they are handled that is important. If you want to spend the extra money for things li...

Re: Interglobal Forwarders or Air Ocean: self-pack move

A follow up: Also keep in mind most shippers will just drop the container still on the chasis which means you will need a ramp as the container will be in the air 4ft. There is an alternative though, there are truckers out there that use these m the additional cost is not that much and the ability t...

Re: small move (books) uk-us

Do you have the measurements? Most moving companies are going to have a 3 cbm minimum. I would say UPS but it sounds as if it may be too heavy for that but again you should check it out first. Where are you located in U.K. near London?

Where are you moving from? You are aware the container will be 4ft in the air correct? Let me know what questions you have.

You can also call the carrier direct for a rate, I have Wallenius number (201-505-4000) but I am not sure about Hual I am sure you can do a quick search though.

Good luck,

Re: car -ro/ro - international shipping

Mardy@horizonshippingservices.com out of Houston and iroyzen@penbrokecartainer.com out of New York I currently work with both of these companies and the service is excellant. They are both local to the areas and both have their own contract with the lines, Penbroke will use Hual and Horizon I believ...
